Amee: I just finished the fourth installment in the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith. In Lethal White, Private detective Cormoran Strike and his partner Robin Ellacott, are hired to solve a blackmailing scheme turned murder case. All the books in the series are set in London with this particular story set in 2016 during the Olympics. Robert Galbraith is the pseudonym of J. K. Rowling. I enjoyed the fourth book. If you are interested in a new mystery series, you may want to begin with The Cukoo’s Calling. Just as in the Harry Potter series, Rowling/Galbraith does an excellent job of developing characters and building relationships.

Karen: The Romanov Empress by C. W. Gortner, a novel of Tsarina Marie Feodorovna: Story of the Mother of Tsar Nicholas II.

Mary: Tailspin by Sandra Brown

Megan: Since Halloween is approaching my picks are focused on it. Click Clack Boo! By Doreen Crown. DVD It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. My favorite!

Rachel: The Hollow by Agatha Christie, Harry Potter series.

Susan: A Year at the Star and Sixpence by Holly Hepburn.
