The Wornstaff Memorial Public Library needs an individual to fill a part-time circulation associate position.  The position has duties and responsibilities of providing pleasant and friendly customer service, performing circulation tasks which include check in, check out, renewal of library material, and library card registration as well as operating office equipment, and assisting patrons with questions.


We ask that candidates have a High school diploma or GED equivalent, be proficient in computer skills, have excellent verbal communication skills, and a willingness to meet scheduling requirements, including days, evenings, and Saturdays.


The hours for the position are every Monday 4pm-8 pm, Wednesday 10am to 2pm,

and two Saturdays a month from 10am to 2pm. Additional hours may be available to cover staff vacation and illness.


The positions will pay $13.00 per hour. A BCI background check is required. A background check completed within the previous 12 months will be accepted.  Upon employment, candidate must join OPERS.
