Amee: Starling House by Alix E. Harrow (fantasy)
Everyone On The Train Is A Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson (whodunit mystery)
Karen: Weyward by Emilia Hart
Three women in 2019, 1942, and 1619 are connected by a family name and a history of witchcraft.
Jennifer: Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice For Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto.
The investigation of a death that took place in Vera Wang's Tea House gives this lonely widow purpose. The plot follows a motley cast of characters all working together to solve the mystery of Marshall Chen's death. The story focuses primarily on the tender relationships that form between Vera and her four main suspects. Very tongue in cheek and silly. Everything is neatly solved at the end making it a cozy mystery murder. I figured it out halfway through. I think it would work really well as a book series or movie.
