 Megan is picking the author Denise Fleming as an all time favorite.

 

Susan's pick is Lady or the Tiger? by Raymond Smullyan.  Raymond Smullyan (1919–2017), mathematician, logician, magician, creator of extraordinary puzzles, philosopher, pianist, and man of many parts.This is a book with riddles based on logic.  

 

Mary's pick The Shadow Sister: Star's story by Lucinda Riley (Seven Sisters Series #3)

 

Jane's pick As Red As Blood by Salla Simukka.  Originally printed in Finnish.  Scandinavian crime novel that is very well written.

Staff Picks

Amee: This month was a good reading month for me. I read Charlaine Harris’ new book An Easy Death
It is a news series, part western, part fantasy, and set in the world very different from our own.

I also read Michael Connelly’s new book, Dark Sacred Night. In this book, Connelly combines his famous
longtime character Harry Bosch with his newest series main character, Renee Ballard to create an engrossing police procedural mystery. And last but not least, I am listening to The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins through the Ohio Digital Library. I loved reading the series and of course, enjoyed watching the movies, but listening to the book is just as engaging.

Karen:  Madeline Finn and the Library Dog by Lisa Papp, it’s adorable and sweet.  Far cry from the book I read last month, on poison.

Mary:  Vendetta by Iris Johansen, The New Essentials cookbook : a modern guide to better cooking by America's Test Kitchen, Delish: 275+ amazing recipes & ideas, assorted quilting and craft b...
